When a loan is approved, we see an application. What we don’t see is what happens next.

We wanted to hear those stories. So we asked six of our customers if they would share them with us, on camera and in their own words. They said yes.
The result is Har Life Ka Balance, a three-part docuseries now streaming on JioHotstar.
Real people, real places
There are no sets, no actors and no scripts. We went to where our customers live and work, sat down with them and listened.
What we heard was honest: ambitions and setbacks, plans that changed, and the determination it takes to keep going.
Six journeys
Gayatri spent years working in salons. When the pandemic halved her salary, she decided it was time to build something of her own, and started her own beauty and grooming services. Today, she is growing her clientele on her own terms.
Kewal works in events, where the days are long, schedules are unpredictable, and every show depends on the team behind it.
Rupesh wanted more than textbook learning for his son, so he and his wife chose a school that would teach him to speak with confidence and stay strong in difficult situations.
Vikas came to Mumbai from Prayagraj 20 years ago and has run the same shop ever since. It supports his whole family, and today his elder daughter, now in college, helps him run it with fresh ideas.

Simran, a mompreneur, started her own clothing label after the birth of her daughter, and created something that is her own.
“I wanted to teach my daughter by example. I wanted her to see that there are many different career paths.”

Vishwas is a bank manager. He works with credit every day, yet when he needed a loan himself, he came to True Balance.
Six different lives, with one thread running through them: people determined to move forward, and the difference it makes when support is there at the right moment.
What it means to us
At True Balance, Finance for All is our mission. It’s the belief that access to credit should be there when people need it, so they can keep moving forward. Making this series showed us what that mission looks like up close, in the everyday lives of the people we serve.
Simran believes ideas aren’t meant to stay ideas. In her words: “If you are planning to create something, True Balance comes as a great financial buddy.”
